Following on from our success with G & T Crampton in Central Park and Charlestown we are delighted to have been appointed for the supply and fix of dwarf wall cladding and paving on their Pembroke Street refurbishment project. As it appears this will be one of Crampton’s last projects we would like to thank all the lads for their support in recent years and wish them well in the future.

Cosgrave Development’s having unearthed a good quantity of granite Boulders on their Honey Park development have brought us in to create road signs for their Bracken Park development using some of the boulders, after grinding the face we are inscribing the boulders with the individual road names in both Irish and English with the Cosgrave Logo and year of construction.

The Lighthouse is a newly constructed development of 2 ground floor commercial units and 83 luxury apartments fronting Lower George’s St in Dun Laoghaire. Having been involved with this project back in 2008 when the then developer went into liquidation we are delighted to have been successful in winning this project with SHANNON HOMES, along with the use of stone on site from the original development we have supplied almost 1800m2 of Moleanos Limestone and 180m2 of Campo Maior Granite. Working intensively with Shannon Homes this project was completed in September 2014 to the clients satisfaction and under the original budget.

Sculpture Laura O’Hagan having been appointed by John Paul Construction to dismantle the Dargan monument set on the Merion lawn of the National Gallery of Ireland has called upon North Wicklow Marble & Granite ltd. for our expertize in this area, following a number of inspections and extensive planning over a 4 week period we dismantled the monument between the 30th of April and May 1st 2014. The monument described as been priceless has been placed in temporary storage while building works are in progress.The bronze statue perched on a granite pedestal over a granite base and sub-base is scheduled to be reinstated in approximately 18 months time once building works are complete.

Ellenfield Contracts have appointed NWMG Ltd to carry our repairs to a reproduction Georgian door surround at number 54 Eccles Street Dublin along with supplying a replacement surround to number 53, the Moleanos Limestone surround to number 53 is a copy of the existing surround which had decayed beyond repair. Work is completed in March 2014

Brehon Capital Partners Limited have appointed North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd to complete repair’s to the Irish Blue Limestone cladding on the above building. Acting as principals for the works we completed in late March 2014. Carlow Limestone with a flamed finish was the exact match for the existing cladding.

North Wicklow Marble and Granite Ltd are appointed by Sammon Contracting to supply and fix 40mm peon hammered Carlow Limestone cladding over a flamed Limestone plinth with100mm thick peon hammered capping and sanded finished sills all to the front elevation of the new Primary Care Facility in Newbridge Co.Kildare. Our second project with Sammon Contracting this year we are scheduled to complete our element of the works in early August.

North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd are appointed by Fajon Construction to design, supply and fix Zira Grey Granite cladding and capping for the refurbishment of their Garryard Complex, works also include the cleaning of existing granite paving, treads and risers and the application of K-Grip strips to the existing treads; programme for the completion of work is October 2011

North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd join K2 Stone for another joint venture; our second Joint Venture this year NWMG Ltd will be responsable the design and installation of 130m2 of risen granite paving to the seventh floor terraces at number 1 central park Dublin 18, K2 Stone will be responsible for the procurement and transport of materials and general contract; works are scheduled to be complete by the end of November 2011

For more than two decades some of Irelands leading Sculptors have been turning to our Managing Director John Flynn for the transport and fixing of their pieces, in line with what has become something of a tradition North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd have just completed the fixing of two pieces by the south Dublin stone mason/sculptor Phil O’Neill, both pieces were fixed in a finished reception area of a south Dublin office building, the first of the pieces was a 1800mm high freestanding interpretation of an ancient Irish standing stone carved from Dublin Granite fixed in an alcove 3 meters above ground while the second piece also carved from Dublin Granite was wall mounted featuring bronze clips to the outer edge and joints.
