North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd join K2 Stone for another joint venture; our second Joint Venture this year NWMG Ltd will be responsable the design and installation of 130m2 of risen granite paving to the seventh floor terraces at number 1 central park Dublin 18, K2 Stone will be responsible for the procurement and transport of materials and general contract; works are scheduled to be complete by the end of November 2011
For more than two decades some of Irelands leading Sculptors have been turning to our Managing Director John Flynn for the transport and fixing of their pieces, in line with what has become something of a tradition North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd have just completed the fixing of two pieces by the south Dublin stone mason/sculptor Phil O’Neill, both pieces were fixed in a finished reception area of a south Dublin office building, the first of the pieces was a 1800mm high freestanding interpretation of an ancient Irish standing stone carved from Dublin Granite fixed in an alcove 3 meters above ground while the second piece also carved from Dublin Granite was wall mounted featuring bronze clips to the outer edge and joints. We look forward to many more challenging pieces from Phil.
Following and unfortunate accident in which the limestone cladding to the entrance sign at Aras an Chontae, Tullamore was broken North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd were appointed by Offaly County Council to supply and fix replacement cladding, the job also included the hand cutting of over 100 letters of various size which we completed at our workshop prior to fixing the stone
Cosgrave Developments Ltd have over the years been one of our best customers, we have repeatedly won contracts with this developer by providing a high level of service combined with competitive pricing and most importantly by meeting their extremely high standards. We have recently been appointed for the supply of Moleanos Limestone cladding, string and capping over Campo Maior granite plinth for their Ranelagh Road project. Design work was completed over the Christmas holiday period with stone been delivered mid Feburary, work is scheduled for completion mid March.

North wicklow Marble and Granite Ltd following the approval of shop drawings commence work on site at number ONE Central Park for G & T Crampton. Our task is the supply and fit of 325m2 of 20mm honed Moleanos Azul flooring to the male and female washrooms, 200m2 of wainscoting cladding complete with feature capping and10 number vanity units each with 3 undermounted bowels, to the lift lobbys 30mm cladding to the lift reveals from level 4 to level 1 with 40m2 of cladding to the ground floor lift core. To the exterior the supply and fix of G603 granite to the MV switch room and ESB substation. Work was completed in early July two week ahead of programme and on budget.
North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd are appointed by KSN to complete alterations to the exterior Granite cladding on core two and three at Pinnacle 2 Eastpoint Business Park prior to a major fit-out scheduled for early 2014, work commences November 19th and is completed January 10th meeting both budget and programme.
January 2014 sees North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd joint EIREGRAMCO at Grand Canal Dock, we have been employed on a labour only contract for the fixing of 30mm honed Grinuage Limestone to the lift shafts from basement to 7th floor. Cladding is been fixed to reinforced concrete using support and retention fixings. Work to the basement level was completed January 13th to meet the first handover date while work to the remaining floors is on-going.
North Wicklow Marble & Granite Ltd are appointed by Bennett Construction to remove the Granite cladding from two piers on the front elevation of the Google Dock building as part of their enabling works for the new pedestrian bridge which is to span between Gordon House, The Gas Works and Google Dock. Our element of the works are completed in mid-January
