December seen the completion of work at the Dublin Radisson where we have supplied and fixed 400m2 of Travertine paving,  solid threads and string in Carlow Limestone along with sixteen number carved Granite flower pots, our work also included repair and restoration of the original limestone steps to the formal gardens and repair of existing flower pots

St. Doolagh’s is SHANNON HOMES latest development of  three & four bedroom family homes located just off the Malahide Road. We have just completed the entrance signage  using 40mm polished Pedras Salgadas with CNC cut lettering  hand painted on site following completion of the fixing.

Following a comprehensive design process by our design manager we have just commenced production of this replica arch in Portuguese Granite, the arch is bound for a period Manor house in County Leitrim with work on site scheduled for the spring

This all Granite private residence in the north of the garden county originally completed in 1837 has over the summer been receiving some tender loving care, The clients well thought-out approach has been one of conservation, our contribution has seen almost 3000 lm of lime mortar pointing completed using traditional methods along with some crucial grafts and repairs to the bay windows and ashlar work.

 

 

 

Almost 300m2 of honed Moca Crème Limestone form Portugal has been supplied and fixed to the newly constructed south  access road at Grange Castle Business Park, The 30mm thick stone has been hand-fixed to a combination of reinforced concrete and block work. This has been our first project with Clonmel Enterprises Ltd and has been completed on budget and to programme due mainly to the contractors management systems which ensure delays and obstructions are avoided

 

 

The Old Presbytery in Blanchardstown has been awarded a Commendation in the Irish landscape Institute Awards 2015, under the Commercial and Institutional category. We would like to offer our congratulations to landscape architect Daibhí Mac Domhnaill of urbanism + landscape and the Cunningham family. Our involvement was the supply and fix of the hard landscaping elements (Carlow limestone) as nominated subcontractors

 

Dublin’s Landmark Hotel the Gresham on O’Connell Street has recently appointed Paul O’Neill Marble Works for the design, supply and fix of a detailed marble floor to the inner lobby of the Hotel. We have been employed by Paul to assist with the survey and design and to complete all fixing and related works on site. The selected material is Nero Marquina (Black) Rosa Verona (Red) and Botticino (Cream) work was completed at the end of April on schedule and to the agreed budget. It has been some considerable time since we have meet such an enthusiastic client  willing to invest in Craftsmanship of the highest level without compromise. This completed project is something all our team members are extremely proud to have been a part off,  The floor itself a testament to Irish Craftsmanship will continue into the future as a benchmark of quality and craftsmanship in the city of Dublin.

North Wicklow Marble and Granite Ltd commence work on Aldi’s Terenure store with Glenbrier Construction Ltd. The material chosen for this project is Moca Crème Limestone form Portugal with a honed finish traditionally hand fixed to a reinforced concrete lift shaft structure, the programming for the installation of the escalators made the stone cladding a priority, having agreed terms on the 18th March we completed design and production delivering stone to site on the 21st of April, work on site is to be completed in two phases the first of which is complete with the second phase due to be complete mid May

Using some G684 granite capping with a flamed finish which was surplus to requirements on a previous project we have pieced together this elegant entrance to the Cosgrave Brothers latest development on Thormanby Hill in Howth. Site foreman Dave Curley expanding on the architects sketch’s instructed our masons on site. The completed piers are finished to the usual Cosgrave high standarts
